Privacy Policy
Effective date: 4 July 2026 · Last updated: 4 July 2026
1. Who we are
This website, lazycat.media (the “Site”), is operated by Lazy Cat Media OÜ, a private limited company registered in Estonia (the “Company”, “we”, “us”). We are the data controller for personal data processed through this Site. You can reach us at hello@lazycat.media.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers personal data processed in connection with this Site only. Our products — including Erudio (erudio.ink) and Lazy PA (lazy-pa.com) — are separate services with their own privacy policies, which apply when you use them.
3. Data we collect, and why
This Site is a static informational page. It does not set cookies, run analytics, or use advertising or tracking technologies. We process personal data in only two situations:
- When you contact us. If you write to us by email or through our contact form (hosted at forms.lazycat.media), we receive the information you choose to provide — typically your name, contact details, and the content of your message. We process it to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss or perform work you have asked about. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), or steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and time of request) in server logs for security and reliability. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating the Site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. How long we keep data
Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, and thereafter only as needed to meet legal obligations (such as accounting requirements where an enquiry leads to work). Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a short, rolling period and then deleted.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Data is handled by the service providers we use to run the Site — hosting, email, and the contact-form service — acting on our instructions as processors. Where a provider is located outside the European Economic Area, transfers are protected by an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. We may also disclose data where required by law.
6. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict or object to our processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@lazycat.media. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Estonia, the Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee) — or with the authority in your country of residence.
7. Links to other sites
This Site links to other websites, including our own products. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites; please review their policies when you visit them.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the updated version on this page with a new “last updated” date. Significant changes will be flagged clearly on the Site.
